Who Is an Average Facebook User?

What does it mean to be average on Facebook? On a given day, 26% of users “Like” a friend’s status, 22% comment on a friend’s status and 15% update their own status.

This infographic, created by JESS3, examines engagement statistics with the world’s most popular social network.

The average user has 229 friends, of which 22% are from high school, 12% are co-workers, 9% are from college and 3% they only met once. In 2008, the average user was 33. Two years later, the average user was 38, five years older.

Compared with other social networks, Facebook users are the most engaged. Fifty-two percent visit Facebook daily, beating out others for daily visitors, such as Twitter (36%), Myspace (7%) and LinkedIn (6%).

Take a look through the data and let us know how your daily Facebook use compares with the average user.

Bollywood Stars as Kids

Senior Bachchan looks amazingly cute as a junior. He looks dressed as a freedom fighter in the dated pic.

Much pampered and loved as a child, Abhishek is all set to be a proud daddy himself in a few days.

Aishwarya apparently knew all about poise and elegance much before she won the Miss World crown. She was definitely a very pretty young girl and years only added to her beauty.

It might be ages that Aamir Khan was a kid, but the childlike quality in Aamir makes him come across as a young person. Also the fact that Aamir understands the psychology of kids so well adds to his charm.

Deepika Padukone looks very bubbly as a kid. Today, however, it is a different story with all the dignified and ladylike ways about her.
As a kid, Hrithik faced a lot of problems, the main being his stutter. Now, Hrithik has evolved to be, perhaps, the most confident actor in Bollywood.

Imran Khan never really lost his baby-face. Despite of his great filmy career and marriage, Imran Khan looks the same.

Not really the typically cute kid, Kajol's childhood pics look very similar to what her daughter Nysa looks like. Like mother like daughter?

Kareena and Karisma were apparently quite healthy as kids and it isn't hard to figure why since they belonged to the Kapoor family. Today, however, the two sisters are known as the most fashion forward ladies in the industry.

There is no doubt about what the Indian barbie must've looked like as a child. Extremely cute and adorable was Katrina as a kid.

Those inherent looks are simply unmissable when it comes to Ranbir Kapoor's young days. The Kapoor family 's genes still loom large on that face.

Salman Khan looks quite the bad boy in his childhood pic. Looks like growing up to be labelled a bad boy was inevitable for him.

Sonam Kapoor looks nowhere close to what she was as a kid. Hers is quite a transformation even though she wasn't quite the ugly duckling.

Shah Rukh is barely a year old in the pic but the mischievousness seen in his eyes as a child is something that is still a part of his personality.

The invisible Man

The invisible Man - Liu Bolin

Dubbed the Invisible Man, Liu Bolin of Shandong, China has created an art form of camouflage. The 38-year-old artist takes elaborately conceived photographs of himself blending in barely noticeable against his surroundings. Standing motionless for hours as he is painted over, Liu becomes a part of his backdrop, which includes everything from telephone booths to earthquake rubble. Authorities shut down Liu’s art studio in 2005 and since, “Hiding in the City”, as his series is called, is purportedly Liu’s continuing protest against the state’s crackdown on art and free expression. Enjoy these fabulous photographs, and see if you can spot the artist in them.
